About Us

The purpose behind establishing this organization is to promote the sport of soccer within the state of Iowa and throughout the United States. This is achieved by organizing competitive matches featuring teams from both within and outside the state—activities that are strictly non-profit in nature and designed to benefit all citizens of Iowa, as well as those of other states participating in this league.

We aspire to develop the sport of soccer through every possible avenue, recognizing it as the most popular and widely watched sport globally. Furthermore, the League seeks to forge partnerships with other sports bodies—such as the Iowa Soccer Association and the U.S. Soccer Federation—with the aim of training and certifying coaches and referees.

Game Development: To elevate the standards of Sudanese and American clubs and players, while working to enhance both technical and administrative performance efficiency.

Promoting Sports Culture: To reinforce the principles of sportsmanship and foster sports awareness among players and fans alike.

The American-Sudanese Soccer Union was founded with the objective of transforming soccer from an unstructured activity into a professional sports system dedicated to achieving success on both local and global stages.
